Three musicians with different musical educations, but loving the same things - creativity, nonconformity, improvisation – combine their own colourful compositions with instant improvisations and classical pieces for solo piano.
Every concert of the Lübeck based band is a colourful melting pot of exciting improvisations and timeless tunes. Moreover the three multi-instrumentalists dare take the risk of a permanent musical dialogue, creating a colourful sounding cosmos that consists of the piano, violin, synthesizer, doublebass, drumset, berimbao, mbira, tablas, melodika, lotusflutes and sounding bowls. All this forms the unique sound of Triologue.
Triologue was founded by Ninon Gloger, Olaf Koep und Alexander Carôt in 2006 and could easily thrill numerous audiences all over Germany. The band played at the Creole World-Music-Competition 2009 and 2011, the German Rock & Pop-Award 2007 (Winner: Best Avantgarde-Group) and at the 16th Jazznachwuchsfestival in Leipzig 2007.
Concerts at the Domicil Dortmund, the Kulturforum Kiel,Jazzbaltica 2014, the Leipziger Moritzbastei and the Avantgarde Festival Schiphorst (2009/2011) show the popularity of Triologue.
Beyond that they did numerous internet-sessions, for example with Wolf Kerschek (leader of the Jazz-Department from the College for Music and Theatre Hamburg) and with Sarah Morrow from Paris (trombone player for Ray Charles and Dee Dee Bridgewater).
Since 2012 Johannes Huth has been the new Bass Player, as Alexander Carôt had to leave the band because he got a call from the Fachhochschule in Köthen.
